A Letter from Nancy Gots

Nancy Gots, Seven Tepee’s new Director of Development, has over 20 years of fundraising, special event planning, major donor relations and capital campaign experience in the not-for-profit industry.   With a Bachelor of Arts degree in Business and Marketing from the University of Puget Sound, Nancy began her career as Development Director at CATS (Community Awareness and Treatment Services), an agency serving the homeless population in San Francisco. She then served as a Development Director for Enterprise for High School Students (EHSS), a youth development/youth employment agency in the city. Nancy left EHSS in order to expand her philanthropic horizons and assist in the Capital Campaign for the rebuild of San Francisco’s Laguna Honda Hospital.

Prior to her arrival at Seven Tepees, Nancy served for over ten years as Director of Development for Enterprise for Youth, a San Francisco nonprofit helping disadvantaged youth prepare for employment and higher education. Nancy’s involvement and management in strategic planning, major gifts campaigns, board relations and development, program expansion, foundation and corporate grant writing and oversight will comprise some of her work at Seven Tepees.
